Join the City of Milpitas for a celebration of the latest smart infrastructure program and Earth Day Resource Fair. Participate in tours and demonstrations to learn about the City’s newest solar and battery microgrid systems and other energy and water savings projects. Resource fair will include activities and information that can help you make simple changes at home that can save you money and protect the plant. Don’t miss this opportunity to do your part for the Earth!
City of Mountain View Earth Day Celebration (With EV Ride & Drive)
Mark your calendars for this year’s annual Earth Day celebration and electric vehicle (EV) test drive event. This event will be filled with activities for the whole family including a variety of sustainability activities, information booths, music, food, and fun. Best of all: the event will offer drivers and passengers the chance to experience the excitement of driving an EV firsthand! There will be a number of EV models available to try out a free test drive.
Earth Day Baylands Tour
Come celebrate Earth Day by exploring the tidal ecology of the Baylands Nature Preserve with the Environmental Volunteers. The free tour starts at the EcoCenter, learning about what can be revealed while the tide is out. Interactive activities will show just how alive the habitat is! Then, embark with volunteer guides to see what fascinating plants and animals can be found on the preserve during low tide.
Note: All participants must agree to wear a face mask at all times. All participants will be asked to sign a Waiver of Liability and a Photo Release before programs. Photo Releases are optional but Waivers are required for participation.
Cupertino Annual Earth & Arbor Day Festival
Cupertino’s Annual Earth & Arbor Day Festival is an interactive event that invites community members of all ages to learn about environmental issues and solutions in a family-friendly, interactive atmosphere. The festival features hands-on activities, live entertainment, electric vehicle demos, and delicious food served by local food trucks.
