Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge at Alviso, will offer

Founded in 1974 and administered by the
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Don Edwards San Francisco Bay
National Wildlife Refuge exists to preserve wildlife habitat,
protect threatened and endangered species, protect migratory birds,
and provide opportunities for nature study. |

Creek Connections Action Group |
The goal of the
Creek Connections Action Group (CCAG) is to collaborate creek
cleanup efforts in Santa Clara County. Since the CCAG's
inception, thousands of volunteers have participated in hundreds of
cleanups, removing thousands of pounds of trash each year from
creeks, rivers and lakes.
The Watershed Watch campaign is now
part of this grassroots effort as a co-sponsor of CCAG's
Spring and Fall creek cleanup events. |

RAFT, Resource Area
For Teachers, is a non-profit organization located in San Jose,
California. RAFT serves over 4,500 Bay Area teachers providing them
with hands-on interactive learning materials and professional
training workshops to use those materials in the school curriculum.
RAFT enriches the learning experience of nearly 800,000 children in
the Bay Area each year. In addition, over 170,000 cubic feet of
reusable material are saved from landfill each year. |

The
Friends of
Guadalupe River Park & Gardens provide community leadership
for the development and active use of the Guadalupe River Park &
Gardens through education, advocacy and stewardship. Guadalupe
River Park is a three-mile ribbon of park land that runs along the
banks of the Guadalupe River in the heart of downtown San Jose from
Highway 880 at the north, to Highway 280 at the south. It is a
resource of regional importance to the people of Santa Clara County
and the Bay Area. The Friends are continually involved in
completing the master plans for both the park and gardens, creating
educational programs for children and adults, promoting
awareness of the Park & Gardens, and developing membership and
volunteer opportunities to increase public support and involvement.
